Hello fellow Franklin Academy parents,
It’s time once again for our annual Scholastic Book Fair!
This year, the fair will be online only, and we’re counting on your support. All the Scholastic credit we earn from the fair this year (25% of sales total) will be invested in new book purchases for our libraries.
Scholastic has developed a fun Virtual 360 Book Fair with content from preschool through middle school. You get to scroll around a gym that’s set up like our beloved fair – you can click on the carts to see the books lined up, click on the books to read the summary or preview video. There’s posters hanging in between the carts, cardboard character cutouts, fair exclusives and lots of interactive content to bring the fair to life.
This is also a great week to stock up on books for our first-ever Read-A-Thon! PALS is teaming up with the Annual Fund to co-sponsor this exciting new fundraiser, so please check out the fair for some new book ideas and get inspired to read in November!

The Book Fair only runs from October 26 – November 8, so shop early and often! All orders will be shipped directly to you, and shipping is free for orders over $25.
For those familiar with our annual sale, we usually have teachers fill a box with books on their wish list that families can purchase and donate to their teacher. We’re working on creating a virtual wishlist for each teacher and we’ll send that out later this week so you can shop for them too!
